The 24th Amendment was the right of all citizen of the U.S. to vote in any primary or presidential/vice presidential election. This also gave the electors the right to vote for any senator or representative in Congress. Meaning, this shall not be denied by the United States or any state by reason of failure to pay any poll tax or other tax. But in the end the 24th amendment ended the poll tax in elections for federal officials. Which then gave more rights to African Americans, women, and the poor.
