Watts Riot took pace in Los Angeles from August 11th to August 17, 1965. Thirty-four people died and a thousand and thirty-two injured. It is the second most severe riot in Los Angeles history. It started because black people were being discriminated against by the police. It ended after the California National Guard was called upon.
